Crewe park café to remain open for now despite operators entering administration
A Crewe park café is set to remain open for now despite its operators entering administration, after its contract was bought out.
Parent firm of Park Life Café, Queens Park, Deep Beat Entertainment Limited, entered administration this February.
Life Cafés and Resorts confirmed to Nub News the contract to run the café at the Crewe park has been bought out, with it set to be signed soon.
It will remain open, unlike West Park Café, Macclesfield, which closed down with immediate effect last week.
Cheshire East Council has confirmed it is searching find a new permanent partner to take over the running of the Crewe and Macclesfield cafés.
Chair of Cheshire East Council's environment and communities committee, Cllr Mick Warren, said: "We have learnt the company that was running the café operations at both Queens Park in Crewe and West Park in Macclesfield has, unfortunately, gone into administration."
"The council is making immediate plans to find a partner to take over the running of both cafés.
"As we recognise that as we come into the Easter season., there will be an increased amount of usage of our outdoor spaces and demand will naturally be higher."
