Crewe medical centres are set to scrap their "difficult" new online consultation service, following "lots of feedback" from patients.

Earnswood Medical Centre and Millcroft Medical Centre, located in Eagle Bridge Health & Wellbeing Centre, Dunwoody Way, will go back to their system used 'previously' at 8am on Friday 3 November.

The centres' online PATCHS system came into effect on Thursday 7 September, but received a large volume of complaints from patients.

Earnswood and Millcroft confirmed their decision in a message to patients, which read: "You said, we listened, we acted.

"After lots of feedback on how difficult it was to use the PATCHS system for making clinical and admin requests to Earnswood / Millcroft Medical Centre.

"We made the decision to go back to the system we previously had in place. 

"Please see our website for more information. This will take effect 8am on Friday 3rd November."

Earnswood Medical Centre is open 8am until 6pm (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) and 7:30am to 6pm (Tuesday). You can call the surgery on: 01270 376666.
