A CREWE fundraiser has cycled the distance from London to Paris to raise funds for a cancer charity.
Ben Reinhardt hit his 300-mile target during May with a series of circular routes around Cheshire.
He joined hundreds of cyclists who had signed up for 'My London to Paris' to complete the iconic distance to raise money for Blood Cancer UK, a charity dedicated to beating blood cancer through research.
Ben's routes, completed all on his bike from his home, took him to Haslington, Church Minshull, Sandbach, Alsager and Hassall Green, as well as Tarporley, Wybunbury, Marbury and Audlem.
On his furthest journey he found himself cycling through Cuddington.
Ben, who is a committee member of Blood Cancer UK's South Cheshire Branch, said: "As a result of lockdown my charity like all others has suffered from lack of fund-raising opportunities.
"When the chance came to raise vital funds I put my effort into the bike ride for such a worthy cause. I have to say a big thank you to all of those who have donated."
Over 60 years Blood Cancer UK have invested more than £500 million in blood cancer research, which has led to a long line of breakthroughs that have improved treatments and saved lives.
Ben is still accepting sponsorship money here.
