Crewe man, 24, charged with drink driving and possession of cocaine

A Crewe man has been charged with drink driving and possession of a class A drug, after being stopped by Cheshire Police over the weekend.
On Sunday 4 May, Cheshire Police pulled over a red Vauxhall Corsa on Forge Street, close to Crewe Lifestyle Centre.
At 2am, officers conducted a search of the vehicle, recovering a number of snap bags, believed to be cocaine.

After failing a roadside breath test, the driver was arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
Jack Grocott, 24, has since been charged with drink driving and possession of cocaine.
The Crewe man has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday 29 May.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 2am on Sunday 4 May, police stopped a red Vauxhall Corsa on Forge Street.
"Following a search of the vehicle officers recovered a number of snap bags containing suspected Class A drugs.

"The driver of the car was also arrested after failing a drink drive test.
"Jack Grocott has since been charged with drink driving and possession of a class a drug (cocaine).
"The 24-year-old has been bailed to appear at Crewe Magistrates Court on Thursday 29 May."
