Crewe latest road closures: Stewart Street shut 'until a week on Friday'

MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid Stewart Street because of a road closure which could last another 10 days.
United Utilities are carrying out work near the junction with Gainsborough Road and the latest estimate is the project, which started on October 23, will take until Friday, November 5 to complete.
Other ongoing road works in place across Crewe include at Crewe Road in Shavington where a traffic crossing is being installed. The section of Crewe Road between Main Road and Lime Grove is shut until November 1.
Hassall Road in Winterley/Wheelock Heath between Pool Lane and Coppice Road, is also shut until November 1 for work on new footpaths and the carriageway.
