Investigation after ball bearings shot through Crewe house window

Cheshire Police are investigating after a Crewe house window was shot through with ball bearings, petrifying the residents inside.
On Monday 3 March, officers were alerted to an incident on Badger Avenue.
Around 10.43pm, the householder reported their living room window had been shot at with two metal ball bearings, possibly from a BB gun or airsoft gun.

The Crewe residents were sat in the living room with the lights on watching TV when the ball bearings, "the size of marbles" were fired.
According to the victim, one of the metal ball bearings was straight in line for their head, if it wasn't for the second plane of glass stopping it.
The window of the property is currently boarded while the householders wait for glazers to repair it.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing, with police asking for witnesses to come forward. The weapon which fired the metal ball bearings is yet to be determined.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 10.43pm on Monday 3 March, police were called to reports of criminal damage at an address in Badger Avenue.

"Officers attended and found a window had been damaged by ball bearings.
"Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or online quoting IML-2039749."
