Firefighters tackle vehicle blaze after being left abandoned close to Crewe pub

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service tackled an abandoned motorbike fire in Crewe - believed to have been started deliberately.

One fire engine from Crewe attended the scene - putting out the blaze.

On arrival, firefighters discovered the motorbike had been abandoned.

A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "An abandoned motorbike was on fire on Middlewich Road.

"The fire was put out by a crew from Crewe."

Cheshire Constabulary have been contacted for comment.
