Crewe FC have confirmed they will join the North West Counties Football League ahead of the 2026/27 season, as the club continues to rise by joining the non-league pyramid.

The move into the National League System comes alongside the opening of the club's new venue at the Excel Building Sports Pavilion, West Street.

This new site includes a new 3G pitch, live sport screens, food and drink facilities, an upstairs bar with lift access, and space for private events and community use.

In a statement confirming the NWCFL move, Crewe FC said: "As a club, however, we now find ourselves at a point where we must look forward and continue to strengthen our player pathway and progress within the game.

"With that in mind, we are excited to begin a new chapter within the National League System and the North West Counties Football League."

The club said the new venue is designed to be more than a matchday facility, with bookings available for pitch hire, parties and local events.

Crewe FC Site Manager, Cobi Bateman, said: "It's not just about football, it's about creating a place where people can come together, enjoy themselves, and feel part of something.

"Whether you're here to support the team, watch a match, host an event, or just have a drink with friends, we want it to be a place people keep coming back to."

Crewe FC teams will play home fixtures on the new 3G pitch as the club prepares for its first season in the NWCFL.

The club will also be launching Crewe Padel on the King George V Playing Fields site.
