Crewe family-run salon celebrates 20 years in business

A family-run hair salon in Crewe is celebrating 20 years of trading in the town, with "big plans" for the future.
Total Makeover, Underwood Lane, was established on Saturday 7 May, 2005, by Crewe resident, Alice Calvert.
In 2024, Alice retired and handed the salon over to daughters, Hannah Kelly and Rachael Grice.

On Wednesday 7 May, Total Makeover is celebrating 20 years of trading, hosting a huge fundraiser raffle in aid of Brain Tumour Research
This fundraiser will be on going throughout May, allowing Total Makeover's customers to take part and raise money for the UK-based charity.
Total Makeover told Nub News: "Throughout the years, Alice has kept the business going by always bringing in new ideas and completing several refurbishments to keep the salons standard high.
"Hannah and Racheal plan to continue in their mums footsteps, maintaining high standards to run a successful family business.
"They both have big plans for the salons future and want to thank all the customers new and old for their continued support.

"The salon has a fantastic friendly team of staff, who all work hard to keep up the salon's reputation. A special thank you to these for their loyalties and commitment. "
Total Makeover is open 9am to 4pm (Monday to Wednesday), 9am to 7pm (Thursday), 9am to 5pm (Friday) and 9am to 3pm (Saturday).
