The Rising Sun, a Chef and Brewer pub in Wistaston, Crewe, is open again following a major six-figure refurbishment.

Located on Middlewich Road, the scenic countryside pub, part of part of pub company and brewer Greene King, has undergone a top-to-bottom renovation.

It is officially welcoming customers back through its doors from Friday 26 June to experience the pub's improved look and feel.

According to Chef & Brewer, the works have "carefully preserved the Rising Sun's traditional charm whilst ensuring elevated experiences with a range of modern-day comforts."

Inside, the renovation has helped to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere with stylish new décor, lighting and furniture.

The Rising Sun is open 11am to 11pm (Monday to Thursday), 9.15am to 11pm (Friday and Saturday) and 9.15am to 10pm (Sunday) (Photo: Chef & Brewer).

Its bar has also been enhanced and the layout has been improved with additional seating, ensuring spacious zones for drinkers and diners alike.

The Rising Sun's garden has received investment to create the ultimate spot for an alfresco refreshment.

Highlights include the introduction of festoon lighting, fresh signage, upgraded outdoor furniture and increased covers to better cater to the busy summer season.

To celebrate the official relaunch, the Rising Sun invited Chairman of the Wistaston Jubilee Tennis Club, James Hale, to cut the ribbon.

The pub also donated to the club as part of its efforts to support local community initiatives.
