A Crewe company's new "state-of-the-art" £14.6m office and sky bar development nears completion, with it set to be completed in early 2024.

Radius' 41,043 sq ft development will consist of a coffee bar, pizzeria, yoga area and outdoor seating, as well as a Star Wars-themed sky bar.

The plans include 128 parking spaces, of which 25 will be designated for electric vehicle charging. These chargers will be operated by Radius's e-mobility business.

Designed by Aew Architects, the 41,043 sq ft Radius development will consist of a coffee bar, pizzeria, yoga area and outdoor seating, as well as a Star Wars-themed sky bar (Ryan Parker).

Radius' rooftop Star Wars bar could be the go-to place for the 300 Radius staff who will be based at the building, housing the company's new telematics hub.

Caddick Construction started work on the project dedicated to employee wellbeing in summer 2022.

This December, the firm told Nub News the development will be completed by the end of January 2024.

Once building work is complete, Radius is expected to move all of its furniture into the building, with its official opening expected soon after.

Radius Payment Solutions executive chairman, Bill Holmes, said: "Development of this exciting new building is key to our commitment to maintaining a great working environment for all of our employees.

"I'm particularly excited it will incorporate state-of-the art testing, warehousing and dispatch facilities for our telematics business, supporting our ambition to become one of the true global leaders in this high growth market."

Founded in 1990, the company now has more than 2800 staff worldwide, with 52 offices across 19 countries.
