A car fanatic from Crewe has shown off his classic Porsche, as part of a special short motoring film, including scenes shot in Cheshire.

Dave Watson was interviewed by Influx at The Old Piggery Cafe, near Whitchurch, before driving his 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo SE around the area's roads in a video now seen almost 140,000 times on YouTube.

The Crewe man is one of three drivers to feature in the near four-minute footage, which was also filmed in Essex and Hertfordshire.

"How often do you see one of these on the road?," said Mr Watson in the Influx edition entitled: Porsche, Past, Present.

"I like cars that are not the same as the next one.

"If you like something that's different, and understand the heritage behind it, then that's what makes this car special.

"It's just from another world, another generation compared to modern-day cars.

"With these, you can enjoy it at lower speeds and know that you're having fun on the road rather than having to take it to a track and ring the neck of it to actually feel that you're driving it."

A 550 Spyder and 911 Carrera 4S are the other models that feature in the arty piece produced by the award-winning online motoring magazine (Influx).

Dave Watson's segment on the mini film starts at one minute, 23 seconds. You can watch it HERE.
