Crewe bank customers redirected to Northwich as town centre branch temporarily closes
Crewe bank customers have been redirected to Northwich as its town centre branch has temporarily closed for - allowing refurbishment works to take place.
Lloyds Bank, Victoria Street, temporarily closed at 2pm on Friday 12 May - allowing major renovation works to take place inside.
Crewe Lloyds customers have been redirected to the bank's Northwich High Street store for almost four weeks - with the store set to re-open at 9am on Thursday 8 June.
Currently, the entrance to Lloyds Bank in Crewe is barricaded off with a temporary closure notice placed in the window.
The notice reads: "We're closing for refurbishment - we'll be open again soon.
"This branch will close from 2pm on Friday 12 May and re-open at 9am on Thursday 8 June.
"Pleas visit our team at 35 High Street, Northwich, CW9 5DD, who will be happy to help whilst we're closed.
"We look forward to seeing you again soon."
Lloyds Bank has also encouraged Crewe customers to use its website or to contact them on: 0345 300 0000. Its town centre ATM is still available to use.
A Lloyds Bank spokesperson told Nub News: "We're investing in our Crewe branch and, once the refurbishment is complete in June, customers will have access to a new 'Knowledge Bar' for informal chats.
"This will be alongside private meeting spaces, ATMs and other banking services."
