Crewe and Nantwich firefighters rushed to an 'out of control' garden fire in South Cheshire - on a street close to the centre of town.
The incident at the rear of a property on Hospital Street, Nantwich, happened at 5:56pm on Tuesday 7 March.
One fire engine from Crewe and one fire engine from Nantwich quickly arrived at the scene - assessing the situation.
Crews found 'intentional' garden burning had 'got out of control' and stepped it to put it out.
The Crewe and Nantwich firefighters used a hose jet reel to put out the garden blaze.
It was put out in time before spreading to nearby properties. No one was injured.
A Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Intentional burning had got out of control at the rear of a house on Hospital Street.
"The crew used a hose reel jet to put out the fire.
"None of the buildings nearby suffered any damage."
