CREWE Alex have reopened their club shop for the first time since the pandemic struck.
Staff are following government guidelines, wearing face masks and adhering to social distancing measures, while hand sanitisers are in place for customers. Numbers entering the shop in Gresty Road are also being monitored by staff.
The shop reopened for business today (Monday) and will also be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays (opening times 10am to 4pm).
The ticket office will also remain open operating at the same times.
Meanwhile, Crewe's sponsorship with long-term partners Whitby Morrison has been extended.
The deal with the ice cream vehicle manufacturers, based on the Crewe Gates Industrial Estate, means the away stand (Pop Side) retains its quirky name for a ninth consecutive season.
Ed Whitby, Operations Director at Whitby Morrison, said: "The 'Ice Cream Van Stand' has been ridiculed and recognised throughout football and has generated the attention that our beloved club deserves.
"Renewing this partnership is just another small win in what will hopefully be another successful year for Crewe Alexandra."
