BRAND new TV sets have been installed for supporters to enjoy at Crewe Alex.

Ageing TV sets which had seen better days on the concourses around Gresty Road have been replaced after a recent supporter survey highlighted them as an area needing improvement.

Up to 20 new screens have been put in ready for the new season which kicks off on September 12.

A club spokesman said: "As a football club we're keen to improve things for our supporters and a recent supporter survey pointed out the concourse televisions as an area for improvement.

"As a direct result of this we have installed the screens across the stadium and I'm sure that fans will appreciate this move."
