'Covid signs and a big white tent': a reader's view of pandemic life in Crewe

ONE of our readers Bohdan Panczyszyn has written about how the pandemic has changed his perception of life in Crewe.

Bohdan has also taken a series of Covid-related images which he says sums up life in the town over the last nine months.

"My images are of Covid signs in Crewe, a town which never anticipated that a pandemic would lockdown and change the whole lives of the people living here.

"When the social distancing signs appeared we wondered if the people of Crewe adhere to these rule; did we know what social distancing was?

"We see signs that lead us to a clinical white tent, which we all become very anxious with a feeling of fear if we are POSITIVE! The wearing of masks is frightening and alienating to say the least.

"The queueing of two metres apart is another aspect we have never seen before. New shop rules of click and collect, you would only think of Amazon.

"Is this the new future of Crewe, or the future of the world that will become? Will the new year of 2021 be Covid-19 free, or will the town of Crewe have to live with it and accept it?
