Cheshire Police investigating several fires in Crewe have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

On Saturday 14 February, officers in Crewe were notified to several fires that occurred across the town.

The fires occurred in:

  • Chantry Court, Forge Street at around 6.35pm
  • Electra Way at around 8.15pm
  • Orion Way at around 9.10pm

The investigation into the cause of the fires is currently ongoing, but it is believed that they may have been started deliberately.

As part their investigations into the incidents, officers have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to.

Detective Sergeant Amelia Jones, of Crewe CID, said: "Our investigation into the cause of the fires is in its early stages but we believe they may have been deliberate ignitions.

"As part of these enquiries, we are looking to speak to the man pictured in this CCTV image, as we believe he holds vital information in relation to the incidents. Anyone who recognises him, is asked to contact police.

"We are also asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicious around the time of the incidents to get in touch with us."
