Cheshire Police officers investigating Crewe hit-and-run incident involving parked car

Cheshire Constabulary is currently investigating a hit-and-run incident in Crewe - involving a moving vehicle and a parked car.

The incident happened last night (August 9), on Lime Tree Avenue - at approximately 10:20pm.

Cheshire Police received reports that a silver Hyundai had collided with a parked car.

A silver Hyundai collided with a parked car and failed to stop (Cheshire Constabulary).

Today (August 10), Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Nub News.

A spokesperson said: "At around 10.20pm on Tuesday (August 9), police received a report of a collision between a silver Hyundai and a parked car.

"The caller reported that the driver of the Hyundai did not stop after the collision and drove away. 

"Enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing."

Cheshire Police say enquiries in relation to this incident are ongoing (Cheshire Constabulary).

Reports from witnesses on social media have said that the parked car was a Ford Edge.

Local residents have said that the vehicle was severely damaged in the incident.
