Cheshire man fined £540 after being in possession of Class A drug in Crewe
A 20-year-old Cheshire man has been fined £540 after being caught in possession of a Class A drug in Crewe - earlier this month (April).
Jacob Sutton, of Beech Heyes Drive, Weaverham, Northwich, was charged with possession of Cocaine in Crewe on Sunday 2 April.
The Northwich man appeared at Chester Magistrates' Court on Monday 24 April - indicating a guilty plea to the offence.
Taking this into account, Chester Magistrates' fined Sutton £300.
On top of this, Sutton was ordered to pay £120 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and a surcharge of £120.
Chester Magistrates ordered for the forfeiture and destruction of the cocaine - which was seized.
