THREE Crewe pubs have been recognised for the quality of their beer in the Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide.
The Borough Arms in Earle Street, Hops Belgian Bar in Prince Albert Street and The Raven in Brookhouse Drive are all featured in the latest 2022 edition of the prestigious publication loved by connoisseurs of a good pint.
The guide is considered to be the UK's definitive guidebook to good pubs serving real ale with over 4,500 pubs listed after being selected by CAMRA volunteers around the country based on the quality of beer sold at the bar.
It is the 21st consecutive listing in the guide for the Borough Arms, which also received CAMRA recognition earlier this year when it was one of three pubs in the Cheshire and Merseyside area chosen to mark the 50th anniversary of the campaigning organisation.
It was handed a Golden Award with the pressure group saying it was impressed with its "ten ever-changing real ales plus a very wide selection of Belgian beers on tap and in bottles".
The Hops has featured regularly in recent editions of the Good Beer Guide and CAMRA describes the bar as a "must-visit establishment" when visiting Crewe.
The Raven has been a free house since 2015 and the guide says its beer offer "is all sensibly priced".
CAMRA has been marking its anniversary with a series of awards for campaigners, pubs and breweries, virtual festivals as well as commemorative merchandise.
