Car flipped over in collision near Crewe college campus

EMERGENCY services were called out after a car collided with a parked van near to Cheshire College campus in Crewe this morning.

A Ford Focus was left overturned in Lunt Avenue after the collision, which took place at around 10.15am, with the car also striking another vehicle after hitting the parked Vauxhall Caddy van.

Paramedics attended and although it was initially thought one person was trapped in the car, the occupants of the Ford were able to leave the vehicle.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said no-one was hurt in the incident.

Officers from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended the scene, which took place close to the junction with Somerville Street/Kingsway.

Lunt Avenue was closed off to traffic while recovery work was undertaken.
