A "large" quantity of cannabis and a "significant" amount of cash have been seized during a police warrant at a Crewe property.

On Wednesday 30 September, Cheshire Police executed a warrant at an address on South Street.

During the warrant, officers recovered and seized the drugs and cash.

A man was also arrested at the address. He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "This action forms part of our ongoing commitment to tackling drug-related crime and keeping our communities safe."

Police thanked members of the public who continue to provide information to help officers target criminal activity in the area.

Anyone with concerns about crime in their community is urged to report them to Cheshire Police.
