Boy taken to hospital following another collision at Crewe junction

A boy was taken to hospital as a precaution, following a fourth reported collision at a Crewe junction already this year.
On Tuesday 11 March, Cheshire Police received reports of a collision on Walthall Street, at the junction with Gainsborough Road.
The Crewe South collision involved two vehicles, a silver Nissan and black Audi, with North West Ambulance Service called to the scene.

A child was looked after by paramedics and taken to Leighton Hospital as a safety measure. Others involved suffered minor injuries. No arrests were made.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson told Nub News: "At 4pm on Tuesday 11 March, police were called to a two-vehicle collision on Walthall Street
"A boy went to hospital as a precaution."

Following another collision at this junction, local residents took to social media to ramp up calls for new road safety measures.
One said: "I dread this junction everyday it's so dangerous you can't see anything.
"Night-time at least you can see car lights. It's like playing chicken trying to edge out."
