A BOY who was seriously injured in a horror collision in Crewe is said to be "making a good recovery".
The four-year-old was airlifted to Alder Hey Hospital after he was struck by a bus while he was out with his mother on West Street on February 1.
While he remains in hospital his condition is described as "stable" and he is recovering from the injuries he sustained.
Cheshire Police say they are still investigating the collision.
Officers have appealed for witnesses and dashcam footage taken at the time, around 1pm, at the scene on West Street near to its junction of Ford Lane.
The boy's mother was pushing a pram, but police said reports suggesting the child may have been in the pram, or that he was hit on foot by a passing car, as was reported by one eye witness, were not the case.
The youngster was flown by air ambulance from George's Playing Fields to the Liverpool hospital.
"The boy remains in hospital at this time; he is stable and described as making a good recovery. Enquiries in relation to the collision remain ongoing and no arrests have taken place," said a Cheshire Police spokesperson.
