Biker left with 'serious injuries' after crash near Crewe

A biker was hospitalised after a "serious" crash near Crewe last week.

The 58-year-old man, who was riding a white Yamaha motorcycle, sustained "serious injuries" after the crash in Minshull Vernon and was taken to Leighton Hospital.

Cheshire Police say the crash, on Brookhouse Lane, happened at around 4:45pm on Tuesday 30 September and officers are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash or has video footage.

Officers say they are also particularly keen to hear from two workmen who stopped to assist the man after the crash.

Sergeant Iain Condliffe, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Cheshire Constabulary, said: "Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and we're doing all we can to establish what took place.

"As part of our ongoing enquiries we're keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any video footage which may aid our investigation.

"We're particularly keen to hear from two workman who stopped to assist the victim following the collision."
