Barrio Fiesta returns to Queens Park with celebration of Filipino culture

Barrio Fiesta, a vibrant celebration of Filipino culture, returns to Crewe's Queens Park on Saturday 26 July, with entry and parking free.
Running from 10am to 6pm, Barrio Fiesta is now celebrated around the world, bringing together Filipino communities and highlighting their heritage through traditional food, music, dance, and community celebrations.
Last year's Crewe event drew in crowds of over 3,000, with the 2025 celebration is anticipated to be even bigger.

The day will include costume parades, live music and dance performances, food and community stalls, competitions, and raffles.
A Crewe Town Council spokesperson said: "We are delighted to support this amazing community event with funding, come along to Queens Park for a fantastic day out celebrating local diversity and culture.
The event is organised by the Cheshire East Filipino community group and this year's theme is 'Unity in Diversity' with an emphasis on mental health and wellbeing."
Highlights from the 2024 event are available to view online, showing the scale and energy of a day that brought thousands together in celebration.
