A WOMAN is appealing for the owner of a gold necklace she found on Crewe playing fields to get in touch.

Pip Meachin says she came across the necklace on Wednesday, January 6 as she was walking near to the entrance to the King George Playing Fields.

The gold necklace consists of three strands and three charms.

Pip says she made her discovery at around 4pm on the day and has still not be able to reunite the item of jewellery with its owner 12 days later.

"I found it just past the entrance to the Georges from the park near to the golf course. Hopefully someone will get in touch about it, thankyou," she said.

Pip can be contacted via Facebook or by ringing 0771 1922482.
