Appeal for information after two unknown men burgle Crewe property

Cheshire Police is appealing for information after a Crewe house was burgled by two unknown men - making off before officers arrived.
The incident on Rope Lane, Wistaston, happened at approximately 7:40pm on Monday (September 5).
Two unknown males entered the Crewe property via an insecure downstairs window.
Following a 999 call, police officers quickly arrived at the scene but the men had run off.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find them.
Today (September 8), Cheshire Constabulary confirmed the incident to Nub News.
A spokesperson said: "At around 7.40pm on Monday (September 5), police were called to reports of a burglary at an address on Rope Lane, Wistaston.
"Officers attended and made a search of the area, but the offenders made off.
"Enquiries in relation to this incident are underway.
"Anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to call Cheshire Constabulary on 101 quoting IML 1360157."
PCSO's have been in area speaking to residents and offering burglary prevention advise.
Selecta DNA property marking kits have also been issued to locals.
