Nub News and Childsey join forces to deliver smarter advertising for businesses
By Louis Hancock 14th May 2026
Nub News is pleased to announce a new partnership with Nantwich-based marketing agency Childsey, aimed at improving advertising performance for businesses across its growing network.
The partnership brings together Nub News' community-focused online newspapers with Childsey's strategic and hands-on marketing expertise, creating stronger opportunities for local and regional advertisers.
Founded five years ago, Childsey is a 12-strong team based in Nantwich, working with both B2B and B2C businesses across the UK. The agency supports companies with everything from high-level strategy through to channel delivery, helping brands grow through practical, commercially driven marketing.
Childsey has worked with a range of notable clients including ITV's Ninja Warrior UK, MB Motorsport, Whitby Morrison, Crewe Alexandra FC and Glossop Market Hall.
Nub News continues to focus on providing a trusted, positive and community-driven news platform. The network supports local high streets by promoting jobs, businesses, events and good news - all without clickbait or intrusive pop-up ads and surveys.
Through the partnership, Childsey will support Nub News in improving advertising effectiveness for its partners, helping ensure campaigns are more targeted, strategic and results-driven.
Karl Hancock, CEO of Nub News, said: "We've known for some time that bringing in the right marketing expertise was an important step for us, so it's great to be working with Simon and the team at Childsey. There are some exciting projects already in the pipeline, and we're looking forward to what's ahead."
Simon Childs, MD of Childsey, added, "We've always been incredibly passionate about championing local businesses, so partnering with Nub News feels like a natural fit. Beyond just the marketing results, we're excited to be working with a team that truly cares about the communities they serve. At Childsey, we believe in doing business with good people, and this partnership is all about using our combined expertise to help local businesses thrive and reach their neighbours in a more meaningful, authentic way."
The move is expected to benefit both local businesses looking to grow and national brands seeking stronger engagement at a community level.
More updates on the partnership and its impact will be shared in due course.
