General Election 2024: Meet the Monster Raving Loony Party candidate
Crewe and Nantwich Monster Raving Loony Party candidate for the 2024 General Election, Lord Psychobilly Tractor, says "After 14 years of Tory rule, it's time for some loony change."
Lord Psychobilly Tractor, who lives just a short tractor drive from the constituency in Cheshire East, says Crewe is his favourite town to visit.
He told Nub News: "Our Loony policies promise to bring a breath of fresh, zany air to local politics.
"With a blend of humour, practicality, and creativity, with the aims to make Crewe and Nantwich a beacon of joyous political reform rebuilding the area one piece at a time.
"On the NHS the Loonies want to reduce the alphabet, we will reduce the alphabet to 23 letters because the Tory government has been ignoring the letters N, H and S for years.
"We will put all schools in tower blocks. This ingenious plan will elevate and boost education standards by having higher floors for advanced learning stages.
"Students will climb the educational ladder to new heights, sometimes with actual ladders."
The last time a Monster Raving Loony Party candidate represented Crewe and Nantwich, was 'The Flying Brick' in the 2008 by-election.
Lord Psychobilly Tractor said: "I promise to infuse politics with a hefty dose of humour, creativity, and outlandish innovation."
"We need a fresh approach to politics, one that brings joy, creativity, and a touch of madness to everyday governance.
"Crewe and Nantwich are special places with extraordinary people, and I am committed to making our community a beacon of loony brilliance."
