Crewe Alexandra have confirmed six more pre-season friendlies that have been added to David Artell’s side's schedule.

The Railwaymen will begin their fine tuning for next season with a trip to local non-league side Nantwich Town on Sunday 11 July, for a 12pm kick off.

Three days later the Alex travel to Witton Albion and Ashton United on 14 July with a kick-off time of 7:45pm.

The first game back on the crisp Gresty Road grass will see Artell’s reds take on Premier League outfit Wolverhampton Wanderers at 3pm on Saturday 17 July.

The Ashton Hulme’s charity match with Stoke City has already been confirmed for 20 July, 7pm at the Alexandra Stadium and Kidsgrove Athletic will be the next friendly on the following night (Wednesday 21 July) with 7:30pm being the kick-off time.

The final game to be announced thus far is a short trip to Boundary Park as the Alex squad prepare to face League Two side Oldham Athletic on Tuesday 29 July for a 7pm kick off.

Tickets for home pre-season matches will be available to purchase from Monday 5 July when details will be released in accordance with the government’s guidelines.
