Swansway Motor Group is celebrating after two members of its Crewe Volkswagen workshop completed accreditations in their respective areas.
Ashley Chesters has achieved his Workshop Controller Accreditation while, technician, Calam Bradbury, has finished his Volkswagen Power Transmission Specialist Accreditation.
Mr Chesters, who began with Swansway Motor Group as a service advisor, started in the workshop two years ago, with ambitions to become a service manager in the future.
The Workshop Controller Accreditation consisted of an online training course followed by the design and implementation of an action plan designed to increase workshop efficiency.
Mr Chesters produced an action plan which set out to reduce idle time in the workshop over a three-month period.
Following the success of this action plan, Ashley was awarded his accreditation.
Mr Chesters described receiving the accreditation as providing him with, "a great sense of pride in my work" and as "an ideal step towards becoming a service manager one day."
Mr Bradbury, who recently celebrated his tenth year at Swansway, came into the company as a service tech.
He has now successfully worked his way up to his current position as technician at Crewe Volkswagen.
Mr Bardbury said: "I'm really pleased to have earned this accreditation.
"I now only have two courses remaining before I can try and achieve my master technician status."
Swansway Motor Group told Nub News it would like to congratulate both Ashley and Calam on completing their accreditations.
