New insights from family owned car dealer Swansway, headquartered in South Cheshire and with dealerships across the North-West, reveal that taking a test drive could be the single most important step when buying a car
Latest research shows that drivers who take a car for a test drive, are six times more likely to go on to purchase a vehicle compared to those who don't.
The data also highlights that test drives play an even more pivotal role in the used car buying journey, as buyers look for reassurance around condition, comfort and value before committing to purchase.

David Smyth, Director at Swansway Motor Group, said: "A test drive is more than just a spin around the block, it's your chance to get comfortable with the car, check all the features, and picture yourself behind the wheel.
"Skipping this step can lead to surprises and we don't want any of our customers to miss out on a car that feels just right."
From scenic drives through Cheshire's countryside to everyday commutes, a test drive helps you decide if the car suits your lifestyle.
It's also the ideal time to explore the car's features and technology, from infotainment systems to driver assistance and, let's face it, it's one of the most exciting steps in finding your next car.
