Ashley Chesters, service manager at Swansway's Crewe SEAT, has completed an inspiring fundraising campaign in support of the Northcare Charity – Salford Royal Gastro Research.
Ash's incredible fundraising journey began on 27 April and concluded on 17 May, with a series of physically demanding challenges to raise money for vital research into Gastroparesis, a condition his wife has lived with for the past 15 years.
Among the activities Ash took on were:
- Nantwich 10k
- Tatton Park 10k
- Shakespeare Marathon in Stratford-upon-Avon
- A 10,000km swim
- A charity football match at Nantwich Town Football Club
The funds raised will support groundbreaking research at Salford Royal aimed at improving treatments and ultimately finding a cure for Gastroparesis.
Together, Ash and his wife are 'celebrating 15 years of surviving Gastroparesis and supporting the hope of a cure'.
Everyone at Swansway Motor Group congratulates Ash on this incredible achievement and thanks him for his dedication to making a difference.
