Crewe SEAT has appointed Ashley Chesters as its new service manager, after rising through the ranks at Swansway Motor Group.
Ashley takes on the role following five and a half years with Crewe Volkswagen.
During this time, Ashley worked as a service advisor for the car dealer, before progressing into the workshop controller role.
As workshop controller, Ashley achieved the Volkswagen Workshop Controller accreditation, in addition to organising the large workshop team throughout their day-to-day operations.
This skillset has prepared Ashley well for the Service Manager role, which he has long aspired to.
Ashley told Nub News: "Since I received my workshop controller accreditation back in July, the next goal for me was to reach a service manager position.
"I'm really excited to put my own stamp on the role and tackle this new challenge."
Since beginning at Crewe SEAT, Ashley has been impressed and excited by the potential among the service team, crediting them with the way they have embraced changes he has brought.
Looking ahead in 2024, Ashley hopes to create an enjoyable, efficient work environment, noting that it is very difficult to achieve success without a team who are united and driven.
A Swansway Motor Group statement added: "Everyone at Swansway Motor Group would like to wish Ashley the best in his new role and to congratulate him on receiving a well-deserved promotion."
