Crewe car company strengthens relationship with community football club

A Crewe motor group has sourced a vehicle at cost for a local community football club - used to transport equipment to various after school clubs and community events.
Swansway Motor Group's relationship with Nantwich Town FC started in 2021 when the two parties signed a deal for Swansway to sponsor the main stand – renamed the Swansway Stand – and the Disability Stand.
This relationship has since strengthened when the partnership was extended to the full sponsorship of the stadium.
Nantwich Town FC are home to over 50 teams, aside from their Men's First Team (Northern Premier League), they also have a Women's First Team (Cheshire Women's Premier League), Veterans Teams, Waking Football Teams, Visually Impaired Teams and a large number of youth teams.
For those children who aren't part of a junior team, Nantwich Town FC offers afterschool clubs, to educate, engage and connect with children in the local area through the medium of football.
The vehicle sourced at cost by Swansway Motor Group will be used to transport equipment to various after school clubs and community events.
Football development manager, Lyndon Wain, told Nub News: "Being a large part of the local community has always been important to Nantwich Town FC.
"I am looking forward to the future of our community football programmes.
"The club's strong relationship with Swansway Motor Group is reflective of our values, as they are also key players within the local community, as well as in Nantwich Town FC's community."
Swansway Motor Group director, David Smyth, added: "We are delighted to continue our support of Nantwich Town FC and their community efforts. We look forward to seeing our relationship with the club continue evolve over time."
