SWANSWAY Jaguar Crewe helped a local charity serve up some tennis sessions during Wimbledon with an ace delivery.

The Crewe-based motor dealership lent its support to Jaguar UK's tennis kit drop which saw tennis nets, rackets and balls donated to children across the country to get them taking part in our summer sport.

David Smyth, along with Matt Hill, Head of Business at Swansway Jaguar Crewe drove to The Wishing Well's town centre base in a Wimbledon-branded all-electric Jaguar I-PACE stocked full of tennis gear to hand over the equipment to Mabyn Meredith and a group of enthusiastic children.

David Smyth, Swansway Group Director said: "Like so many, we've been transfixed by the action on the courts at Wimbledon this year, and we're only too happy to share some of our enthusiasm with the local community.

"The last year has been especially hard on children, isolated from their friends and missing out on crucial learning and physical activity, so anything we can do to brighten their days and establish a lifelong hobby, or even career, is extremely valuable for us."

Mabyn Meredith of The Wishing Well said: "We're extremely grateful to the ongoing support from the team at Swansway and to Jaguar UK for their support. This tennis equipment will bring real joy to our kids after a tough year and we'll be keeping an eye out for the next Johanna Konta or Andy Murray in our ranks."
