A CREWE-BASED car dealership is showing its support to families in Crewe with donations of gifts and toys for underprivileged children this Christmas.
Swansway Group - which has new and used car and van dealerships located across the North West and Midlands - has launched the 'Swansway Santa Patrol' to distribute gifts to a local charity's Santa appeal.
They have been collected on behalf of Swansway Jaguar Crewe, Motor Match Crewe, Crewe SEAT, CUPRA Crewe, Crewe VW, Crewe Audi, Swansway Accident Repair Centre and Swansway Group's head officer to be delivered to The Wishing Well Project, which offers support to families when they need it the most.
Andy Poole, Brand Manager at Crewe Volkswagen said: "We are very grateful to all our customers for their support over the years, and the 'Santa Patrol' is one way we can give back to the communities where we do business.
"We are delighted to be able to give Christmas an early boost for local families in need, to alleviate some of the anxiety that they can experience at this time of year.
"Sadly, for so many, the need for family support has never been higher. And we were only too happy to be able to donate these gifts and to help The Wishing Well kick-start their Christmas campaign."
Mabyn Meredith, Children and Family Lead for The Wishing Well said: "Thank you to Swansway Group for the ongoing support with our Santa appeal. Without this support it wouldn't be possible to reach as many families as we do each year to make Christmas special.
"It's a tough time of year for families and puts a huge strain on people's finances, but the joy that we can bring to children at Christmas to children and the reduced stress for parents makes this appeal priceless and very worthwhile."
