Day to Day
- Design and implement a national health and safety strategy tailored to the fuels industry across 35 depots nationally
- Develop policies, procedures, SSOW and compliance frameworks from scratch
- Lead risk assessments, incident investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide expert guidance to operational leaders and frontline teams
- Ensure full compliance with UK legislation, industry standards, and best practice
- Build a positive, proactive safety culture across all sites
- Ownership of reporting, auditing & trend analysis
- Act as the organisation's subject-matter expert for all H&S matters
What will you bring?
- Proven experience within a Health & Safety Management role
- Experience within fuels or other hazardous materials is preferred
- Strong working knowledge of UK H&S legislation and industry regulations
- NEBOSH Diploma
- Someone who thrives in a blank-canvas environment and enjoys building systems from the ground up
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to influence at all levels
- A practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently
- Ability to travel nationally across our 35 depots
