Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Permanent Role

Location: Crewe + Regional Travel

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm (Overtime after 42 hours + On Call)

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A new opportunity is available for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join a busy mobile maintenance team. You'll work across a portfolio of retail and commercial sites in Crewe, Chester, Macclesfield, and the wider Cheshire area, delivering high-quality service and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), reactive repairs, and minor installations
• Working on commercial combustion, heating, and HVAC systems
• Diagnosing and resolving faults, including basic electrical issues
• Carrying out general building services tasks and occasional fabric maintenance
• Participating in an on-call rota
• Keeping plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas clean and safe
• Supporting both minor and major repair works to heating systems

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Commercial Gas Qualifications: TPCP1A, ICPN1, CORT1, CIGA1
• Core Safety: COCN1
• Experience in reactive maintenance on commercial contracts
• Capable installation skills and a proactive attitude
• Domestic gas qualifications (advantageous): CCN1, CENWAT1, CPA1, ICAE1
• Full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points)
