The opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our central head office marketing team where we support our full dealership network and our head office functions.

Our marketing department is a key function in the success of Swansway Motor Group and the department is fast moving with multiple campaigns running at the same time, we have a real teamwork ethic. This role reports into the Dealership Marketing team and you will be working closely with the rest of the marketing team, as well as building strong relationships internal stakeholders from across the business as well as external agency partners.

More about the role

- Co-ordination of local marketing campaigns and implementation across all marketing channels

- Support marketing team in delivery of internal and external events and incentive rewards

- Review, plan and implement customer contact programs, mainly through the use of email and SMS

- Plan and implement ad hoc direct customer communications to support marketing campaigns

- Analyse CRM performance to make recommendations for continual improvements

- Manage and cleanse the customer and vehicle data; ensuring all data opt outs, deletion requests, gone aways or deceased and duplicates are actioned

- Support the marketing team with any data selections required for campaigns

- Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to a varied workload

- Strong written communication skills

- Organised, structured, motivated and calm approach to work

- Great communication skills

- 1+ year experience in a similar role within a Marketing team

A bit more about the Family

Founded in 2003 by Michael Smyth and his three sons, David, Peter and John, Swansway has grown from five motor dealerships in Cheshire and the West Midlands to the 20 dealerships we have today. From Birmingham in the South to Carlisle in the North we partner with eleven brands including; Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Honda and many more.

We're expanding our own-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don't stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
