We re looking for a Machine Operator to join a thriving manufacturing firm at their site based in Crewe.

Previous experience for this role is desirable but not essential as you will be trained up to a high standard by a supportive team.

What will you be doing as a Machine Operator?

  • Setting up and operating slitting machines
  • Monitoring machine performance and reporting any maintenance concerns or repairs
  • Ensuring the process manager/team leader is kept informed of any production issues that may affect quality, safety, or performance
  • Ensuring health, safety & environment policies are adhered to as well as following company specifications and S.O.P

What do you need?

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Familiarity with setting up machinery
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure

Line Leaders - NightsWe are looking for Production Line Leaders to join our fantastic growing Fabulosa based just outside Nantwich. The candidate would have responsibility for the efficient management of their production line ensuring their team are motivated, have clarity of standards & expectations to achieve targeted production in line with the plan, safety requirements & legislation.Production Team: Responsibility for their 'Line Team' providing instruction & leadership to ensure the efficient production of our product range To ensure their Production Team are dressed in line with our guidelines in terms of required PPE To be aware of the Production Plan for the Shift ensuring all key components are available to minimise any downtime during changes (Bottles, Labels, Mix) Ensure that the Production Line & surrounding space is kept clean & tidy throughout the day with an end of shift 'sweep through' to maintain required standards Work with Shift Manager to ensure Production is monitored in line with the Plan, making adjustments where applicable Feed any issues with Production to the Shift Manager & Production Manager that may impact the plan (quality, engineering, raw materials) Manage the Production Team in terms of Holidays, Absence & required Agency in conjunction with Production Manager Engineering: Ability to correct any 'minor' engineering issues relating to production to ensure the line runs at maximise capacity Awareness of corrective measures to the production line to retain the standards & expectations of product guidelines such as Labels, Fill or Date Stamp QC: Nurture key working relationships with Quality Control Team to ensure each product produced is in line with our standards & expectation Continually train production team to be aware of QC Standards & to highlight any issues that need to be addressed Administration: Complete Daily Production Tracker to summary Shift Productivity Highlight any issues affecting performance that need to be addressed or escalated Health & Safety: Line Leaders should enforce our regulations & guidelines at all times in terms of Health & Safety Regular checks of PPE should be made highlighting any issues to Shift Manager/Production Manager (Non-Conformance or PPE requirements) Key issues relating Production Line Machinery should be reported to Engineering Manager & Production Manager immediately where Health & Safety is a concernJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £13.50-£15.50 per hourSchedule: 10 hour shift Monday to Friday Night shiftExperience: Line Leader: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In
