Adlington Retirement Living which is based in Congleton has launched an in-house resales service aimed at helping families wishing to sell their Adlington property.

Simon Crewe, a director at Adlington will lead Adlington Estates alongside Tim Crichton, who will take the role of resales manager.

Tim has worked across most of Cheshire East as an estate agent for the last 10 years, including Macclesfield, Holmes Chapel and Congleton.

He said of his new role: "As a high street estate agent I gained fantastic experience which included working with retirement community properties as well as mainstream sales.

"Working as a busy estate agent opened my eyes to the fact that sometimes retirement properties do not receive the time and attention required to get the best outcome for the seller, compared to more mainstream properties.

"That's why Adlington Estates will purely focus on supporting Adlington Retirement Living homeowners and their families when it's time to sell their pre-loved properties, giving them our dedicated focus."

The new service is part of Adlington Retirement Living's long-term expansion strategy.

CEO of Adlington Retirement Living, Dr Ed Gladman said: "Since 2008, we have launched 15 Integrated Retirement Communities across the North West, Yorkshire, Wales and the Midlands. In the past six years, we have grown from 30 employees to a team of more than 200, with experts from land acquisition, planning, architectural and technical design, to procurement, construction, sales & marketing, legal and community operations.

"Adlington Estates will complement our growing business and provide another high-quality service to our homeowners and their families."

"Another important aspect of this new service is to help retain the best value for our customers. The resale value matters to Adlington to ensure our communities thrive today and in the future."

Customers of Adlington Estates will have access to the Adlington Retirement Living website where their property will be listed alongside other property portals including Rightmove.

A dedicated Adlington team will be responsible for viewings with a dedicated on-site team within each community.

Adlington Retirement is one of the top three companies that design, build and operate independent retirement communities.
