Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire has launched a swimming lessons scheme at Seashell, a national learning disability charity, based in Cheadle, Cheshire.

The charity provides some of the best equipment and facilities for children and young people with complex learning disabilities and additional communication needs in the country, including a swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool on site allowing children to explore the water and develop swimming skills.

With a great location and facilities, Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire was keen to provide swimming lessons at the charity. Rachel Bateson of Puddle Ducks Mid Cheshire commented: "By renting the pools from Seashell we are providing vital water safety and lifesaving skills to our customers, whilst also providing an income stream for this amazing charity."

The new pool launched on 11 March and will help create a nurturing environment and support independent swimming for children of all abilities from birth to 10 years old.
