Cheshire East companies nominated in FSB North West Awards

Cheshire East will be well represented at the FSB Celebrating Small Business North West Awards which take place on Friday 3rd March.

The FSB North West Awards has 12 categories, ranging from business product innovation to sustainability, and communications.

NAR Sports, which is based in Wistaston were nominated for two awards including Start-Up Business of the Year and the Community Award. The sports coaching company has a variety of sessions set up in schools across the county and is active in local engagement through sports.

NAR Sports will be joined at the ceremony by another Cheshire East company as Meryl Fabrics, based in Congleton celebrated their nomination for the Business Product and Innovation Award, which they have received for their work on developing their 100% recyclable yarns and fabrics, which successfully don't release microplastics.

Peter Broom, Director, and Technical Innovator at Meryl said of the nomination.

Some of the other Cheshire East nominees include Epona Marketing, of Congleton, Recoup Financial Solutions from Crewe, Thermmark Ltd, based in Congleton, and Workflow Services Ltd. which are headquartered in Macclesfield.
