Sixteen-year-old boy arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault after a man was stabbed in Crewe over the weekend

A 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault yesterday (Wednesday) and remains in custody after a man was stabbed in Crewe over the weekend.

At 10.41pm on Friday 20 November police were called to Davenport Avenue in Crewe following reports of a man in his 40s with a knife injury.

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire Police on 101 or via their website quoting IML 856221.
