MEMBERS of a Facebook group have been inundated with requests for their 2021 calendar featuring seasonal images of Crewe's Queens Park.

Interest has been so high that the calendar is already on a second print run with all profits raised from sales going towards the volunteer group The Friends of Queens Park, who are fundraising to support the refurbishment of a play area.

The calendar photographs have all been submitted by members of 'Queens Park Crewe - The People's Park', who have shown their photographic talent within the popular Grade II listed public park which opened in 1887.

The Facebook group allows its members to share photos and comments about the town's great asset.

The 2021 Calendar is on sale for £10 and is available from the Park Life Café within Queens Park during opening hours.

Diane Scoffin, of the Facebook group, said: "The calendar idea came from a member of the group asking if there was one. Others said they would be interested.

"We had no idea just how popular this was going to be and we have already ordered a second print run after only four days of sales.

"A huge offer from the Park Life Cafe also came along, as they are donating an extra £5 for every calendar sold in their cafe."

The Friends of Queens Park raise awareness about the park and its facilities, while promoting opportunities for involvement. They can be found on Facebook here.
