Domestic Gas Engineer

A respected mechanical contractor is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to join their team. The Domestic Gas Engineer will be working on commercial sites including schools, pubs and commercial settings.

The role is split 60% gas-related work and 40% plumbing.

Candidates must have:

- An accredited commercial gas engineer qualification, such as an NVQ.

- Experience working on commercial projects.

- High level of gas and plumbing skills and knowledge;

- Full clean, driver's licence.

- Willing to undergo a DBS disclosure.

Also desirable for the role are:

- Commercial Catering Qualifications (COMCAT).

- Renewables Qualification.

- LPG.

- Plumbing Qualification.

- Specialist Gases experience/qualification.

- Experience working with Oil.

- Electrical maintenance experience/qualifications.

- Current CSCS card.

Salary: £29k to £32k per annum, negotiable, including benefits.

Duties include:

- Processing order notes

- Locating stock / order items from the warehouse

- Configuring products/phones and packaging for different customer requirements

- Testing and checking of products

- Packaging completed orders

- Entering information into the warehouse stock system/scanners

Full training is provided.
