A CREWE care company has rewarded its staff with gifts as a thankyou for their work in the community during the lockdown.

The team at Home Instead Senior Care Crewe has been working hard to help older people stay safe and happy in their own home during COVID-19.

So Beverley Dodd, registered care manager, and her office team created gift bags to present to their caregivers to thank them for all their hard work with the company's elderly clients.

The gift bags included a number of treats, length of service awards and a dedicated certificate for each caregiver in acknowledgement for their continued commitment and dedication to Home Instead.

Beverley said: "We just wanted to say a really big thank you to our amazing caregivers, who always go above and beyond for the community supporting our clients. Our hope is that the gift bags bring a smile to their faces as a little gift of appreciation.

"As we know, this has been quite a difficult time for everyone, but we are happy that we have been able to continue to support vulnerable members of the community. Our team has been working incredibly hard to ensure continuity of care for each one of our clients."

Home Instead's services are tailored to the needs of each client. Services include companionship, day-to-day housework, shopping, meal preparation, assistance with dressing, bathing, eating and medications.

Carers visits vary from one hour to 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
